Terms of Service

Effective date: July 20, 2026
Entity: Petricor AI Inc. (“petricor”, “we”, “us”)
Contact: legal@petricor.ai

These Terms govern your use of the petricor website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you're authorized to bind it, and “you” includes that organization.

2. The Service

petricor is an organizational observability platform. The Service is provided as a beta / evolving product: features may change, and availability is not guaranteed.

Enterprise or paid use is governed by a separate written agreement — a Master Subscription Agreement (MSA) and Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls for that customer.

3. Accounts

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach.

5. Your data and content

You own your data. You retain all rights to the data and content you or your organization connect or submit (“Customer Data”).

You grant petricor a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service for you, and as permitted by the DPA. We do not sell Customer Data and do not use it to advertise to you.

You're responsible for having the rights and lawful basis to submit Customer Data, including any personal data within it.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service — software, design, models, and content we provide (excluding Customer Data) — is owned by petricor and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no ownership.

Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation to you.

7. AI-assisted features

The Service includes AI-assisted features that generate summaries, briefs, and answers. Output can be incomplete or wrong. It is decision support, not professional (legal, financial, or accounting) advice. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or acting on it.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (e.g. Clerk, Railway, Anthropic, Cloudflare). We're not responsible for their acts or omissions, and their terms may also apply to your use.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, petricor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You'll defend and indemnify petricor against third-party claims arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by petricor.

12. Fees

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. Pricing, billing, renewal, and refund terms are set out in the Master Subscription Agreement (MSA) or order form you sign; that agreement controls. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as that agreement states.

13. Term and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; Sections 5–11, 14, and 15 survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@petricor.ai and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. General

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date; continued use means you accept them.
